Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician for Plainview, NY to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on device use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality customer service.

This role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and independence, with a smaller team environment, clear on-call rotations, and competitive hourly pay. A valid license and driver training completion are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use.
• Offer high level of customer service to patients with life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs and vehicle documentation accurately.
