Accendra Health in Elmsford, NY is seeking a Delivery Technician who will safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes, educate patients on equipment use, and ensure safe operation with high‑quality customer service.

The role offers a smaller, supportive branch environment, on‑call rotation with stipends, a stable schedule, and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong customer service and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME inside patient homes.
• Educate patients on equipment use and safety to ensure proper operation.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and support to patients relying on equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle; maintain logs and vehicle documents.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed and perform routine vehicle checks.
