Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality customer service.

You’ll work in a small, supportive team with predictable on-call rotation, take-home trucks based on route, and on-call stipends. Join us to help improve patients’ daily lives in their homes.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during deliveries and set-ups.
• Clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use.
• Ability to work in patients' homes and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs during daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instructions on equipment use and operation.
• Offer high level of customer service to patients relying on equipment for life-sustaining needs.
• Load/unload equipment from delivery vehicle and complete logs and forms.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed and perform routine vehicle checks.
