Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality customer service.

Based at the Portsmouth branch, you’ll join a small, supportive team with flexible scheduling and on-call duties. The role emphasizes safety, patient comfort, and independence through practical, hands-on work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completion of Apria's Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs during daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use and operation.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients who rely on essential equipment for daily living.
