Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse, Peritoneal RN (Finance) to train home dialysis patients and provide ongoing support in accordance with federal and state regulations.

You will conduct home visits, document nursing services in the EMR, participate in infection control, handle on-call duties, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care in a home program. Flexible with locations and hours to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Train patient (and/or care partner) in the practice of self-care Peritoneal Dialysis or Hemodialysis upon meeting federal and state regulations governing Registered Nurse qualifications.
• Document all nursing services in the Electronic Medical Record including training sessions and interactions.
• Participate in infection control monitoring, implementation, and recording as requested.
• Be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures; communicate and review Emergency Preparedness with home patients.
• On-call nursing services, nights and weekends, on a rotational basis as needed.
• Coordinate home evaluation with technical services to ensure proper equipment operation and water requirements.
• Monitor and report water sample and culture results.
