Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Memphis seeks an entry-level Home Therapies RN CAP1 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. You will assess patient response to home dialysis training, adjust treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the physician and interdisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and adherence to policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (preferred).
• Home dialysis therapy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care per Fresenius Kidney Care policies and nursing practice standards.
• Assess, analyze and document patient data; adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home dialysis training and therapy.
• Administer medications per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
• Lead and participate in staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures.
