Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Texas seeks an experienced RN to lead training and oversight of home dialysis therapies. The role ensures high-quality patient care, supports CQI activities, and educates patients and families about ESRD and home therapies.

The candidate will participate in staff onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with physicians for patient transfer when necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.).
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, ICU experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year dialysis experience preferred, peritoneal experience preferred.
• Successfully complete CPR certification with maintenance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective training and oversight of home dialysis therapies to patients.
• Rotates with other licensed staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff.
• Acts in accordance with CQI activities and quality goals for Home Therapies.
• Educates patients and family regarding ESRD and home dialysis therapy.
• Communicates patient issues to physicians and coordinates transfers when needed.
