Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level Home Therapies RN CAP to educate and coordinate care for patients undergoing home dialysis. You will train patients and partners, collect dialysis data, and collaborate with physicians to optimize treatment within a clinic setting and during home visits.

The role includes on‑call rotations, supervision of staff as assigned, and ongoing CAP requirements to advance professionally in nephrology nursing.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current state licensure as an RN.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Entry level RN with 0–2 years nephrology nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide education and coordination for home dialysis training and treatment.
Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document in the medical record; adjust treatment plans as needed.
Train Home Dialysis patients and Home Partners on equipment operation and safety.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate patient-related issues to the physician.
Ensure safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy; assist with emergency responses.
Support staff training and orientation; supervise assigned personnel as needed.
Ensure proper laboratory collection, processing, and shipping, and reschedule missed collections.
