Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Home Therapies CAP program in Texas. The RN CAP1 provides and coordinates clinically competent care, assesses patient responses to home dialysis training, and communicates with physicians as needed to optimize outcomes.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership and quality improvement activities, while developing your expertise under supervision and advancing through CAP

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state RN licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Assesses and analyzes dialysis data and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Educates patient and family on home dialysis training and treatment.
• Delivers safe dialysis therapy in collaboration with care team.
• Documents and communicates patient-related issues to the physician as needed.
• Participates in staff training, quality improvement and on-call rotation.
