Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician II for Home Therapies to support Milwaukee's home dialysis program. You will assist with HD and PD training, set up equipment, verify patient data, and maintain a safe home environment under a licensed nurse's supervision.

The role requires two years of patient care experience, CPR, and PCT certification, with travel between facilities as needed and active participation in CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid PCT certification or state-specific certification.
• At least two years of patient care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces home dialysis training and setup under supervision.
• Identifies patients, collects vitals, and records data for intake forms.
• Maintains communication with patients, caregivers, and HT RN.
• Prepares supplies, tracks inventory, and assists with lab specimen handling.
• Assists with PD/HD training and ensures a safe home environment.
