Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Gulfport, MS is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician I HT to support home dialysis training and patient care under the direct supervision of the Home Therapies RN.

You will assist with setup of home dialysis equipment, monitor patient status, gather vitals, prep supplies, and help maintain a clean, compliant learning environment while coordinating with the care team to meet Quality Enhancement goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organizational mission and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces home hemodialysis and PD training as permitted by law.
• Obtain vitals, weights, and patient information for intake forms.
• Collaborate with HT RN and care team to ensure quality patient care.
• Prepare and stock supplies, disinfect equipment, and maintain a clean environment.
• Assist with documentation, records, and routine office tasks.
