Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Mixer Operator to safely operate concrete mixer trucks, deliver to job sites, and provide excellent customer service. You will be part of a nationwide network focused on reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, coordinating with dispatch, and assisting with plant duties as needed. CDL drivers with a safety-first mindset are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active CDL Class A or B and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
