Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking skilled Mixer Operators to deliver ready mix concrete to both commercial and residential sites. You’ll be the face of SRM on job sites, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and exceptional customer service while upholding safety standards.

With a Class A or B CDL, you’ll conduct vehicle inspections, coordinate with dispatch, and contribute to a team that values reliability and service.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong customer service mindset and representation of SRM values.
• Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous mixer operator or concrete delivery experience is a plus—newcomers welcome to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every job site, representing SRM with professionalism.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks for vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and SRM safety protocols to protect yourself, team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
