Builders FirstSource is hiring a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to safely operate delivery vehicles and deliver materials to customer locations. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and efficient delivery with adherence to DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of delivery driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to pass MVR checks and obtain a DOT Medical Card. Strong reading, writing, and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience.
• Pass MVR review.
• Obtain DOT Medical Card within 5 days of request.
• Fewer than 5 moving violations in 5 years.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver materials to customer job sites and facilities.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products while protecting cargo from damage.
• Verify delivery orders, quantities, and materials for accuracy.
• Assist customers with unloading materials and provide professional service.
• Maintain delivery records and logs.
• Complete DOT‑required records using handheld devices.
• Perform pre-trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety regulations.
