Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a professional driver to operate delivery vehicles and trailer combinations, ensuring on-time delivery of materials to customer sites. You will assist with loading, secure materials, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications include a Class A CDL, 1–2 years of delivery experience, MVR check, and ability to read and speak English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license and Class A CDL.
• 1 year of delivery driving experience recommended; 2 years preferred.
• Must pass MVR and obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing product.
• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and help customers unload.
• Maintain logs of deliveries including weights, mileage and locations.
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as needed.
• Perform routine safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and documents.
• Operate hand-held devices for DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Use forklift or other material handling equipment when needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
