Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver responsible for transporting materials to customer sites and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries. The role requires a Class A CDL, clean MVR, and the ability to load/unload, assist customers, and document deliveries accurately.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively in English, performs basic math for quantities, and adheres to DVIR/HOS regulations while maintaining safe driving practices. A DOT medical card is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid Class A CDL; clean MVR; ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math and measurement skills.
• Must maintain compliance with DVIR/HOS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and unload with or without assistance.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, weights, and locations.
• Assist customers and act as a liaison to resolve issues.
