Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a professional delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites in a truck-trailer. The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and the ability to perform pre/post trip inspections and safety checks.

You will load, secure, and unload materials, assist customers at delivery sites, and maintain accurate delivery logs while upholding safety protocols all day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL license and a clean MVR.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles and operate truck-trailer combinations.
• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and assist with loading/unloading.
• Secure product properly and maintain logs of deliveries and vehicle checks.
• Serve as customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices for DVIR/HOS when not driving and complete logs.
• Assist with pre/post trip inspections and related paperwork.
