Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites, operate trucks over 26,000 lbs, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. You will load, secure, and unload products as needed, assist customers, and document delivery details.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, 1 year of delivery driving, and the ability to read English. It involves lifting up to 100 pounds frequently and may include forklift operation in a production setting, with teamwork and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and a Class B CDL.
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driving; 2 years CDL driving preferred.
• Pass MVR report, obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request, and have ≤5 moving violations in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and secure loads.
• Maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions; assist customers with unloading.
• Verify order details and keep logs of deliveries, weights, and mileage.
• Act as a customer service liaison and help resolve issues on site.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed and perform safety checks.
