Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Volumetric Mixer Operator to join our nationwide team. You will operate concrete mixer trucks (Class A or B CDL) and deliver ready mix to commercial and residential sites while prioritizing safety and customer service.

You must have a current CDL and DOT Medical Card, a safe driving record, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Expect home daily with overtime opportunities and competitive pay, plus benefits and growth potential within a values-driven

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong customer-service mindset and SRM values on every job.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator or Ready Mix driver is a plus; motivated newcomers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself and your team.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
