Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Mixer Operator to safely operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver ready mix to commercial and residential sites. You’ll be the face of SRM at job sites, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries with a service-first attitude.

Ideal candidates hold a Class A or B CDL with a current DOT Medical Card, have a safe driving record, and excel in customer service and teamwork. You’ll work local routes, be home daily, and support plant/delivery operations.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
