Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company is seeking a CDL A Local Driver for the NAPA Private Fleet. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations daily between company facilities and customer sites to pick up, transport and deliver freight safely and on time.

This role offers a home-daily schedule, no-touch freight, dedicated routes, drop-and-hook opportunities, mileage-based pay and a safety bonus. Must adhere to FMCSA/DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs using an ELD.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to operate tablets/computers and ELD.
• Must pass MVR check.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally for short or long distances safely and timely.
• Perform inspections and report defects to management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Log work/rest periods accurately in the ELD system.
• Load and unload materials and secure loads properly.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Operations about movements and issues.
