Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a CDL A Local Driver for its NAPA Private Fleet. The role operates tractor-trailer combos daily between company facilities, with home daily schedules and no-touch freight.

Expect drop-and-hook routes, safety training, and paid holidays while delivering freight regionally in a compliant, timely manner. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, and coordinating with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL experience required.
• Ability to pass MVR check and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally for short or long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Perform required inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and report defects.
• Log work/rest periods, follow FMCSA/DOT regulations, and communicate movements to Dispatch/Operations.
