Genuine Parts Company (NAPA Private Fleet) in Indianapolis is seeking a CDL A Local Driver to transport freight regionally with a home-daily schedule. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, log work/rest using an ELD, and securely load/unload cargo while complying with FMCSA/DOT regulations.

The role offers drop-and-hook routes, safety training, quarterly bonuses, and paid time off. A Haz-Mat endorsement and at least 2 years of CDL experience are required.

Competenze

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience required.
• Must pass MVR check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate tablets, computers and ELDs.

Mansioni

• Transport and deliver freight regionally in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Perform required inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and document defects.
• Ensure operations comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Accurately log work/rest periods in ELD.
• Safely load and unload materials and secure loads.
• Follow manifests, bills of lading, and other shipping documents for delivery timing.
