Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a CDL A Local Driver for its NAPA Private Fleet to operate tractor-trailer combinations regionally, with home daily expectations. You will pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely, timely, and in compliance with FMCSA rules.

The role emphasizes no touch freight on many routes, dedicated schedules, and opportunities for performance incentives, including safety bonuses and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 23 years of age.
• Must have and maintain a current valid commercial driver’s license. License must be a Class A with HAZ-MAT endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience preferred.
• Required 2 Years Clean MVR.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally for short or long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs.
• Ensure all operations comply with state and federal laws and FMCSA regulations.
• Log work/rest periods in the ELD and maintain required documentation.
• Load/unload loads as needed and secure cargo properly.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Operations about movements, issues, delays, etc.
• Represent the Company professionally and complete other duties as assigned.
