Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a CDL A Local Driver for its NAPA Private Fleet. This role operates tractor-trailers daily between facilities, terminals and customer sites, delivering freight safely and on schedule.

You will have a home daily schedule, mostly drop-and-hook routes, and no touch freight. The position requires a Haz-Mat endorsed Class A CDL and 2+ years experience, with training and bonuses provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Pass MVR check and maintain safe driving record.
• Able to operate tablets, computers and electronic logs.
• Must be at least 23 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally in a safe, efficient and legal manner.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on assigned equipment; report defects.
• Comply with FMCSA/DOT rules and company policies.
• Log work/rest periods accurately in the ELD system.
• Load/unload as needed and secure all loads properly.
