Performance Food Group in Manassas, VA is seeking an Entry Level Driver Trainee to learn and gain experience driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes. Training will cover safety checks, DOT compliance, and efficient delivery to customers.

The role requires CDL-A eligibility, with on-the-job instruction and potential night routes from Sunday through Thursday. Pay reflects an initial high earning potential in the first year, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL A is required.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Responsabilités

• Attends and successfully completes PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
• Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries as required.
• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/trailer to meet safety standards.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading; verify invoices; complete required paperwork.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unload products, obtain signatures, collect payments if required, and secure loads.
