Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn and perform route deliveries for local/home daily routes. The role starts with paid training at $24 per hour, then advances toward an annual earning potential around six figures with CDL-A in place.

You will train under a driver mentor, complete safety checks under DOT regulations, and gain experience in loading, unloading, and delivering food products to customers along intrastate routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain CDL-A and DOT Health Card.
• Clean driving record for past 3 years and ability to pass drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Driver Trainee training program.
• Assist trainer and perform deliveries safely.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections per DOT.
• Deliver customer orders and obtain signatures.
• Maintain log hours of service per DOT regulations.
