Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services in the United States, seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home and community settings. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy across real-life contexts such as kitchens, groceries, and workplaces.

The role supports autonomous work within a collaborative team of therapists, with driving/travel reimbursement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred.
• Effective communication in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing/family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.

Skills

Master’s Degree (SLP)

State licensure

CPR Certification

1 year experience as SLP

Knowledge of neurorehabilitation

Communication skills

Physical ability (lifting 50-100 lb)
