Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) seeks a Home Consultant to guide customers through floor plans, options, and coordinating construction to create a world-class homebuying experience. You’ll demonstrate model homes, set appointments, and contribute to a high-energy, team-driven sales environment.

Base salary of $50k plus commission offers strong earning potential and opportunities for growth within Clayton’s values-driven home-building business.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales experience.
• Retail environment understanding.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for manufactured home sales.
• Walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Move and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers identify floor plans and options and coordinate construction.
• Present display homes and demonstrate features to add value.
• Set home center visits by converting ads and web leads into appointments.
• Assist with merchandising and maintain model appearances.
• Attend sales meetings and training opportunities; work in a team environment.
