Job summary

WelbeHealth LLC in Newark, NJ seeks a Home Care Supervisor to oversee the delivery of safe, reliable personal care services in participants’ homes, coordinating Home Health Aide scheduling and external vendor relations. This is a non-clinical leadership role within WelbeHealth’s management team.

You will supervise the Home Health Aide team, ensure compliance and documentation, provide training, handle on-call rotations, and collaborate with Rehabilitation to support home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervising Home Care Assistants.
• Two years supervisory experience with mentoring.
• Reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 180 days of hire; preferred at hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee Home Health Aide team delivering ADLs in participants' homes.
• Hire, onboard, train and coach Home Health Aides.
• Provide vendor feedback and monitor caregiver performance.
• Maintain compliance records and ensure certifications are current.
• Audit documentation timeliness and provide coaching.
• Manage varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends; on-call after hours.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation to support home exercise programs.
