Job summary

AW Health Care is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator for Home Care to join our University City, Missouri office. The role focuses on accurate, timely staffing of private duty clients and may involve involvement in recruitment and hiring processes.

You will assign and schedule field staff, answer inquiries, and maintain detailed documentation within the computer system. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and offers on-site work in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare staffing, strongly preferred.
• Average to above average computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
• Must be a self-starter, pro-active person, able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be a team player dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude
• Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with all employees
• Ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule field staff to provide care and services for patients, in any “zone”, as directed by the Program Coordinator.
• Answer phone calls from field staff and patients; document follow-up and resolutions in the system.
• Provide patients or families with accurate schedules no less than monthly and follow-up regarding coverage and cancellations.
• Enter new clients and/or inquiries; track hours and attendance for all staff; document notes in the system.
• Ensure shifts/visits are completed in the system accurately and timely to minimize payroll errors.
• Assist with hiring and orientation of new team members as directed by Program Coordinator and HR.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with state/federal regulations, HIPAA requirements.
• Available for on-call weekends, holidays and after office hours
