Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations of speech language and swallowing functions.
• Evaluates cognition, language, reading, and voice.
• Collaborates with physicians to oversee speech pathology programs.
• Completes documentation and billing per policy and regulations.
• Administers, scores, and interprets speech/swallow tests.
• Delivers evidence-based speech therapy tailored to patient needs.
• Plans and conducts rehabilitative treatment to restore communication.
• Assists in determining dietary feeding levels for dysphagia patients.
• Improves intelligibility with augmentative/alternative communication.
