Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients across ages, including infants to elderly. You will assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing impairments and develop plans of care with patients and families.

This role involves collaborating with physicians and delivering evidence-based therapy in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage workflow.
  • Travel to patient care assignments - Home Care.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate speech language and swallowing function to detect disorders.
  • Evaluate cognition, language, reading, and voice.
  • Collaborate with physician oversight of speech pathology programs.
  • Complete documentation and billing per policies.
  • Administer, score, and interpret speech tests.
  • Provide evidence-based SLP care across ages.
  • Direct rehabilitative treatment plans to restore communication.
  • Assist in determining dietary feeding levels for dysphagia.
  • Support use of AAC devices to improve communication.
  • Review services for effectiveness and efficiency.
