Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across ages. You will develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with patients and families and deliver evidence-based therapy in various LVHN locations.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, PA license upon hire, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• SLP license in Pennsylvania required upon hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations of speech language and swallowing functions to detect disorders.
• Evaluates cognition, language, reading, and voice as part of assessment.
• Supports physician oversight of speech pathology programs.
• Completes documentation and billing in accordance with policies and compliance.
• Assists in improving intelligibility of speech using augmentative/alternative communication devices.
• Reviews the quality and effectiveness of speech-language pathology services.
