Addus/Arcadia HomeCare is seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to schedule and supervise in-home care workers and clients across a geographic area. You’ll manage caregiver shifts, ensure service quality, and perform regular client wellness checks and visits.

Supervisory experience and a proactive problem-solving mindset are preferred. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, in Chico, CA, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industry experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage work schedules; adjust for client needs, illness, vacation or leaves.
• Provide alternate coverage to ensure care plans are followed.
• Contact care providers and clients to give service updates.
• Conduct monthly wellness calls and home visits as required.
• Escalate and follow through on client complaints and theft claims.

Essential Duties:

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client’s care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates
• Conducts monthly client wellness calls and conducts home visits as required
• Provides thorough, complete follow-through on escalated client complaints and theft claims
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company’s policies and guidelines
• Ensures the appearance of the branch’s open environment is professional: neat, clean, orderly and generally free of clutter
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
• Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the agency
• Follows all MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
• Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have DL to complete in home supervisory visits
