Arcadia HomeCare and Staffing in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Service Coordinator to schedule caregivers, support field staff, and keep care plans on track. You’ll manage client updates, handle scheduling changes, and perform in-home visits as needed to ensure quality and continuity of care.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in the home care industry, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of industry experience required.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Must have a DL to complete in home supervisory visits.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages work schedules in the system.
• Handles changes to client schedules due to requests or absences.
• Ensures care plans are followed and services are uninterrupted.
• Contacts caregivers and clients for updates.
• Conducts monthly client wellness calls and in-home visits as needed.
• Supervises direct service staff and enforces policies.

Essential Duties

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system
• manages changes to client schedules due to client request illness vacation or leaves of absence
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the clients care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates
• Conducts monthly client wellness calls and conducts home visits as required
• Provides thorough complete follow through on escalated client complaints and theft claims
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the companys policies and guidelines
• Ensures the appearance of the branchs open environment is professional neat clean orderly and generally free of clutter
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
• Maintains regular predictable consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the agency
• Follows all MCO Medicare Medicaid and HIPAA regulations and requirements
• Abides by all regulations policies procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of Industry experience required

• Must have DL to complete in home supervisory visits
