Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Home Care Scheduler to manage non-medical and health services scheduling. You will coordinate staff, assign clients to clinicians, and maintain schedules to ensure high-quality care and smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will also assist in caregiver onboarding, screening, and training to recruit and retain top talent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years patient scheduling experience.
• Must be well organized with great attention to detail.
• Proficient with computer use and software applications.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to ensure consistent quality of services for internal and external staffing needs.
• Assign new clients to clinicians according to scheduling protocols.
• Use web based scheduling application as the basis for all scheduling.
• Create and maintain schedules for all employees.
• Contact caregivers regarding shift coverage and changes to hours.
• Maintain hot list of staff for immediate placement and backup.
• Fill open shifts and secure coverage for call-offs or changes in client needs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Managers, Caregivers & Clients regarding scheduling.
• Participates in determining hiring needs, as well as interviewing, hiring and training new staff.
• Monitor caregiver applications and conduct phone screenings and scheduling of interviews.
• Manage onboarding and records for caregivers
• Monitor caregiver schedules for overtime
• Monitor late/missed clock-ins and clock-outs
• Help monitor performance of existing caregivers
