Job summary

Buckner Home Care LLC is seeking a Home Care Manager to coordinate resident and Care Giver schedules, matches, and communications to ensure high-quality care. You will build relationships with residents and families, manage onboarding inquiries, and address coverage gaps with contingency staffing plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the senior care industry
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain resident and Care Giver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery
• Create optimal resident and Care Giver matches that support strong relationships and positive outcomes
• Monitor daily scheduling activities and address coverage gaps or changes in resident needs
• Develop, implement, and maintain contingency staffing plans to ensure uninterrupted service coverage
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident and Care Giver information within software system
• Track, document, and communicate all resident and Care Giver interactions, concerns, and service updates
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, family members, and Care Givers
• Respond to incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
• Follow up promptly on resident and Care Giver concerns to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
• Build resident loyalty by identifying opportunities to enhance services and improve the overall care experience
• Recognize and communicate opportunities to increase service hours when doing so would improve care quality and resident outcomes
• Manage new resident inquiries and gather relevant information to support the resident onboarding process
