Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years healthcare experience in a sales/marketing role, preferably home health or related industry.
• Strong interpersonal communication and time management skills.
• Organized, with high work ethic and strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Computer literacy and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Non-degree candidates with supervisory experience in home health, hospice or related industry will be considered.
• Willing to travel for territory coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNF management, discharge planners and case managers to generate referrals.
• Use customer service and sales skills to attract and maintain business relationships.
• Contact leads in a timely manner and follow up weekly.
• Build relationships with the community and professional organizations to sustain referrals.
• Conduct pre-discharge visits to determine client needs and promote services.
• Inform prospective clients about personal Home Care Services and gather needs.
• Initiate service agreements with new clients and document marketing expenditures.
• Support PR outreach through speaking engagements and community involvement.
• Ensure effective communication with branch staff and field sales resources.
• Assist branch in timely billing processing and documentation of demographics/payors.
