Addus Homecare in New Mexico is urgently hiring Home Care Aides to support seniors and disabled clients living at home. The HCA-Core role is on call five days a week with a weekend day, offering a 40-hour work week with 20 hours guaranteed.

Scheduling is determined by the supervisor and assignments cannot be refused. You will follow care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; if by car, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
• On-call availability and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Follow care plans for clients and report on tasks.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, etc).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor’s appointments, grocery store and other essential errands.
• Assist client with the self-administration of medications and observe changes in condition.
