Job summary

Addus Homecare in New Mexico is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. The role is on-site with a schedule of 5 days per week, 40 hours (20 hours guaranteed) and on-call 24 hours.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, housekeeping, meals, and transportation. The position requires 18+ years, successful background check, reliable transport, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; if by car, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Call office each morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans for clients and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist with routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor visits and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition.
