Job summary

Ambercare is hiring Home Care Aides (HCAs) in New Mexico to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role is on-call for 5 days per week with 40 hours total (20 guaranteed) and a weekend day required.

Daily pay is available for select positions, and a path to CNA certification is offered. Responsibilities include following care plans, personal care, light housekeeping, transportation for errands, and medication assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Criminal background check required.
• Reliable transportation; if by car, valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Call the office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal prep and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
