Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Bayard, NM is hiring Flex Home Care Aides – HCAs to support seniors and disabled clients in their homes. The role is on-call five days a week with 40 hours total (20 guaranteed) and weekend shifts required.

Candidates should be compassionate, reliable, and able to follow care plans and directions. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders, with on-call duties 24/7 as scheduled

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift at least 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Call office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Perform light house cleaning, meal prep and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
