Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Cliff, NM is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides – HCAs to support seniors and people with disabilities living at home.

This on-call, 40-hour-per-week role (20 hours guaranteed) requires five days per week with at least one weekend shift. You will follow care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, medication support, and report changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• On-call for 24 hour shifts.
• Five days per week with at least one weekend day.
• Work schedule determined by supervisor; cannot refuse assignments.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and essential errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
