ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota South and Bradenton is building a new South Sarasota agency and seeks a part-time Administrator to lead daily operations, establish policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare for AHCA survey readiness.

You will partner with the Agency Owner to oversee staffing, budgets, and the QAPI program, coordinate admissions and referrals, and serve as the primary AHCA liaison. This office-based role has no client home visits and offers flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in good standing in Florida or health service administration experience with at least 1 year supervisory/administrative role in home care.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
• Business management experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run daily agency operations with the owner, including annual operating and capital budgets.
• Develop and oversee agency policies; update as regulations change and communicate changes to staff.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and competency assessment; supervise care team with Manager of Care Services.
• Ensure coverage during business hours and have an alternate administrator for absences.
• Oversee QAPI program, data collection, and reporting.
• Assist with client admissions, referrals, case assignment, and coordination with payors.
• Serve as primary contact for AHCA surveys, inspections, and complaint responses.
• Support marketing, public relations, and discharge planning activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a part-time Administrator to lead day-to-day agency operations and build the operational and quality framework for our growing home care company. You will work closely with the Agency Owner to establish policies, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee staffing, and prepare the agency for AHCA survey readiness and ongoing success.

Flexible / Part-Time

This is an office-based, part-time role — no travel to clients' homes. Hours are scheduled based on agency needs and your availability. This position may be an excellent fit for a healthcare or business professional seeking supplemental income, greater schedule flexibility, or a way to grow into home care agency leadership.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the owner to run daily agency operations, including the annual operating and capital budgets.
• Develop, implement, and oversee agency policies; review and update as regulations change; communicate changes to all staff.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and competency assessment; supervise and evaluate the care team alongside the Manager of Care Services.
• Be available during designated business hours (on premises or by telecommunications) and ensure a qualified alternate administrator covers your absences.
• Oversee the agency's QAPI program, data collection, and reporting.
• Assist with client admissions, referrals, case assignment, and coordination with third-party payors and community resources.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AHCA surveys, inspections, and complaint response.
• Support marketing, public relations, and discharge planning activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Florida Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing OR health service administration experience with at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home care or related health care.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
• Business management experience, a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
