Job summary

ComForCare in South Sarasota, FL, is building a new home health agency and seeks an experienced part-time Administrator to lead day-to-day operations, shape policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare for AHCA licensure surveys.

You will partner with the Agency Owner to oversee staffing, budgets, QAPI, admissions, and coordination with payors, while maintaining a flexible on-site schedule and safeguarding quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care.
• Florida-licensed RN, PA, or physician also qualifies for the role.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements at state and federal levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily agency operations with the owner and manage budgets.
• Develop and oversee policies; update as regulations change.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and competency assessment of staff.
• Ensure AHCA survey readiness and respond to inspections and complaints.
• Create and manage the agency's QAPI program and data reporting.
• Coordinate admissions, referrals, and care team with payors and resources.
• Support marketing, discharge planning, and other duties as assigned.
