Job summary

GYMGUYZ Rhode Island is seeking a Personal Training Manager to lead a mobile fitness team across Rhode Island. You will train clients, develop trainers and grow the business by forming community partnerships and managing client relations.

The role combines leadership with hands-on client work, including assessments, program design and team coaching. Competitive earning potential reflects performance and growth in a dynamic, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• CPT certification from NASM/ACE/ISSA/ACSM or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• 3–5 years of fitness experience with leadership or management experience.
• Proven success selling and retaining personal training clients.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by building relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, senior communities, schools and organizations.
• Develop referral and corporate wellness partnerships and represent GYMGUYZ at community events.
• Respond to inbound leads, conduct consultations and close new business; own client, revenue and renewal goals.
• Lead and mentor personal trainers; onboard new trainers and coach programming, communication and client retention.
