Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team delivering Early Intervention services to infants, toddlers and families in home and community settings across California.

You will conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model, and collaborate with families to IFSP goals while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Virtual services are available and travel between sessions is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California (SLP)
• Pediatric experience with Early Intervention preferred
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
