Job summary

Sunny Days of California Inc is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team delivering home-based Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers and their families across California.

You will assess development, provide speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model, and collaborate with families on IFSP goals in homes, daycare centers, and community settings, with virtual options available.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Home based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments.
• Provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model Rush & Sheldon.
• Follow each child's IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment in families homes daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available.
• Provide re assessments and write progress reports typically bi annual.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations.
