Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in their homes and in community settings across California.

You will conduct developmental assessments, develop IFSP-based goals with families, and deliver therapy with a family-centered coaching approach. A California license and pediatric experience are required; bilingual Spanish helps.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license required.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred).
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
